On 08/30/2022, Airlife Ambulance carried out an international air ambulance flight, transporting Mr. Osório, 65 years old, from the city of Salta, Argentina, to São Paulo, Brazil. The main goal of the flight was to ensure the safe and efficient aeromedical transport of the patient.
Experience and Expertise in International Air Ambulance Flights
Airlife Ambulance has extensive experience in international flights, completing hundreds of missions across North, Central, and South America. However, international aeromedical flights are far more complex. They demand detailed planning, compliance with specific regulations, and coordination with hospitals and international authorities. “Additionally, we have a team of specialists managing the entire process. This allows us to execute missions quickly and efficiently,” says Captain Thiago Vilella, Director of Operations.
Infrastructure and Air Ambulance Team for International Transport
In addition, Airlife Ambulance has aircraft ready for rapid patient transport on international flights. These jets can reach speeds over 800 kilometers per hour, offering greater range and efficiency. Consequently, the company delivers faster and more comfortable aeromedical transport services. This infrastructure positions Airlife as the preferred choice for major international insurers and clients across various sectors when missions are complex. Moreover, our experienced medical team provides comprehensive support.
“From medical regulation to coordination with the destination hospital, we ensure every detail is covered,” says Diogo Vilella, Commercial Director.
The aircraft used for this flight was a Learjet 35A, which stands out for its greater range compared to other aircraft in its category, thus enabling international flights across the Americas. The crew consisted of pilots Mauricio Brandão Pool and Edinei de Souza Nunes, along with a doctor and nurse who accompanied the patient throughout the mission. According to the crew, the flight went as planned, successfully transporting the patient.
Finally, Airlife Ambulance wishes Mr. Osório a speedy recovery, hoping he will soon enjoy moments of health and happiness with his friends and family.
