On Thursday, March 30, SETE successfully performed an aeromedical transfer from Navegantes, Santa Catarina, to Santa Fé, Argentina. The patient, a 69-year-old who fractured his femur after falling from a ladder, required aeromedical transport due to the severity of his injury.

The transfer was conducted aboard a Mitsubishi MU2B, a highly sought-after aircraft for this type of mission because it is the fastest in its class. Another key advantage of this aircraft is its low door design, which facilitates the patient’s entry and exit, ensuring greater comfort and ease during the procedure.
