On June 17, 2018, we conducted an aeromedical transfer using an Air ICU flight for Mr. Mauro Gouveia, 54 years old, who was in Miami, Florida, on a business trip when he fell ill and was hospitalized.

After eight days in the hospital, Mr. Mauro was cleared for the flight back to Brazil, but only aboard an aircraft configured as an Air ICU. When his family contacted our company to arrange the aeromedical transport to Miami, our medical team promptly contacted the hospital to gather the patient’s full clinical history.

Following this, we scheduled the flight, and the transfer was carried out successfully.
