On November 26, 2019, SETE Táxi Aéreo conducted an Air ICU flight transporting the most iconic name in Brazilian sports commentary, Galvão Bueno. The flight departed from Lima, Peru, and arrived in São Paulo, Brazil, proceeding smoothly and as planned. This transport removed Galvão from the hospital where he was admitted following cardiac medical procedures and transported him to his residence, where he can rest and recover.

“We always assume great responsibilities with each aeromedical transport. A detailed analysis of the companies, aircraft, equipment, and medical team was carried out, and SETE Táxi Aéreo was chosen by Galvão’s advisors to perform this flight. SETE builds its history alongside the history of the people it serves. Galvão has a worldwide legacy,” said Diogo Vilella, Commercial Director.

The chosen aircraft for this mission was the Learjet 35 A, equipped with a fully operational Air ICU structure, ensuring Galvão’s clinical stability and comfort throughout the entire flight.

“The crew is specially trained for aeromedical flights, which differ significantly from executive transport. Additionally, we are fully integrated with the medical team accompanying the flight to provide precise care from the point of origin to the patient’s destination,” emphasized Commander Thiago Vilella.
