On October 29, 2019, SETE Táxi Aéreo successfully carried out an international aeromedical mission, transporting a patient aboard an Air ICU flight from Calama, located in the El Loa Province of Chile, to São Paulo, SP, Brazil.
SETE’s extensive experience in international aeromedical transport with Air ICUs was the key factor in being chosen to carry out this mission.
The flight was expertly coordinated by Commander Thiago Prudente Vilella and Co-Pilot Patrick Parreira Cruvinel aboard a Learjet 35-A.
According to Commander Vilella: “The execution of the flight is just one stage of the process. When it comes to international aeromedical Air ICU flights, significant experience is required for proper planning and execution. This includes handling the legal procedures of each country involved. SETE has a specialized department that manages everything from the initial request for transfer to monitoring the patient at the destination hospital.”
SETE Táxi Aéreo wishes Roberta, the client who utilized this flight, a swift recovery and hopes she lives every moment to the fullest as she regains her health.
